What to know before AirBNB hosting

What to know before AirBNB hosting
Do you have a spare room, guest house, or second property? Are you able to leave your own home for long periods of time? Then you’re probably considering being an Airbnb host.

While it may look like an easy way to make a quick buck, here are a few things to consider before hosting:

✅ Do your research. Look at things such as: nightly rates, booking availability, airbnb rules, design ideas, professional photographers, and competitive edges.
✅ Give your space a guest-friendly makeover. This might include adding lighting, small appliances, nice mattresses and bedding, etc.
✅ Stock up on supplies. You’re going to need more than a comfortable place to sleep to keep guests happy. You don’t have to go overboard, but you do want to keep your airbnb home stocked with the basics: bottled water, seasonings, paper towels, soap, toilet paper, extra blankets, etc.
✅ Treat guests like you'd want to be treated. This includes: a clean home, open and friendly communication and easy accessibility.
➡️ Make sure you SAVE this post to refer back to it as you start or continue your airbnb hosting journey!
