How to prepare your kids for the big move
Before leaving your old home behind, it’s important to help your children prepare to say goodbye to it. Here are some tips to help their relocation go as smoothly as possible:

Keep your child involved in the moving process.
Help your kids get familiar with their new surroundings.
Help them get involved in their new school and community.
Have a going-away party.
Make the new house seem familiar.
Continue fun family rituals, and start new ones.
Keep it positive.
