HOW TO NEGOTIATE THE HOME INSPECTION

HOW TO NEGOTIATE THE HOME INSPECTION
So, what happens after the home inspection? Depending on the detailed report you receive, you can either back out or negotiate repairs or price with the home owner.

Here are ten tips to have a good/ productive negotiation after the home inspection:

➡️ Review the report with your real estate agent
➡️ Prioritize repairs by cost and severity
➡️ Don’t sweat the small stuff
➡️ Request concessions for major items
➡️ Get quotes from contractors
➡️ Take the market into consideration
➡️ Know what “as-is” means
➡️ Work on your poker face
➡️ Be reasonable
➡️ Know when to walk away
