Tech support scams are fraudulent schemes where scammers impersonate legitimate tech support representatives to deceive individuals into giving them access to their computers or money. Scammers often use unsolicited calls, emails, or pop-ups to claim computer problems, demand remote access, and request payment for unnecessary services. To avoid falling victim to these scams, it's essential to be skeptical of unsolicited offers, verify the caller's identity, and never grant access or provide payment to suspicious tech support agents.
